First of all, I analyzed myself and drew a mind map based on my current life experience.
· Research
To make it easier for me to recall my experience, I went through the previous photos.
I found that in my life, I spent most of my time in Jinan, and I learned and developed my major skills in Jinan. I have been living in this city for more than 20 years, which has influenced my interests and the direction of my life.
After analysis, all my experiences can be regarded as a small “me”. Thanks to these experiences, I was able to study in the University of Southampton. These experiences gathered in Jinan remind me of the cells distributed in human organs.
Then, I read articles about cell groups and human society, which confirmed my idea that human society and cell society are so similar.
In conclusion, I decided to combine the two elements, cell and Jinan, the city where I grew up, to tell about my education experience and life track. I live in Jinan like a cell working in an organ. Although it is a small part, it is also an irreplaceable part. It plays its function and role, and I will continue to enrich myself in the journey of life. It is because of the accumulation of education that my journey of communication design came into being.

· Process
I had two ideas for mapping. The first way was to replace the road with blood vessels and represent me with lines. The second way was to use cells to represent me. And the number of cells represents how long I’ve been in that particular location. Finally, I choose the second way.
· Final version
At the beginning, I wanted to use monochrome map to express my education experience, because in my impression, learning is boring. But I met a lot of interesting things and friends in my study life, which were also colorful, so I finally decided to use the color version to express myself at all stages.
